Regina opened her eyes and for the first few minutes couldn't remember where she was. Then she remember why it all looked familiar....it was his bed room.
After she swore to herself that she wouldn't stay the night any more for awhile...here she was naked and in his bed at the first light of dawn.
She wanted to get up, but she didn't want to disturb him. She knew that if he woke up that he would want to talk....and it was something Regina wasn't really in the mood to do.
After lying there for what seemed an eternity she felt him stir anyway.He rolled over and put his arm around her waist and mumbled into her hair "mmm... you're still here"
Regina couldn't help but feel the tears well up in her eyes. She was in love with him...of that she had no doubt. But she knew that he could not say the same. He had made it clear that he wasn't really interested in a permanent commitment. He had been married and divorced, with a teenage daughter, not to mention everything else on his plate. He just wanted someone to have fun with and to be able to relax with on occasion.
None of that changed the way Regina felt when Nick looked at her with those green eyes....she was certain that those eyes were the reason why she found herself in his bed. | |
